Mesut Özil
was born in 1988, Gelsenkirchen, Germany. His first national team experience
started in 2006 with German National Youth Teams and he has become a regular
player of the German National Team since 2009. In 2010 FIFA World Cup, he was
nominated for the Golden Ball prize which is given to the most valuable player
of the tournament. Özil started his professional football career with team
Schalke 04 in Bundesliga which is a team from Özil’s birthplace, Gelsenkirchen.
After Schalke 04 journey, he moved to another Bundesliga club SV Werder Bremen.
After he performed very well in 2010 FIFA World Cup with the German National
Football Team, he achieved to sign with the Spanish La Liga club, Real Madrid
in 2010. In 2013, he was transferred to the Premier League Club Arsenal with
the highest record breaking transfer fee of £42.500.000 at the time. PH7 Talent
